Zillion Games at SiGMA Asia 2025: A Strategic Step into Southeast Asia

Zillion Games proudly participated in SiGMA Asia 2025, one of the region’s most dynamic iGaming events, held this year in Manila. Representing Zillion at the event, our Head of Business Development, Urosh Nikolich, shared his firsthand impressions — and they signal exciting momentum for our future in Southeast Asia.

Building Bridges Across Asia

“This was an excellent opportunity to feel the beat of Southeast Asia and to strategize Zillion’s presence accordingly,” Urosh noted.

While respecting confidentiality, he highlighted that many valuable meetings took place — particularly with companies Zillion is already integrated with or actively partnering. These discussions centered around deeper collaboration, long-term business development, and unlocking new markets through multi-project pipelines.

A standout surprise? The strong presence of Southeast Asian regional aggregators who don’t typically exhibit at European expos. “I was very pleasantly surprised to meet a lot of SE Asian regional aggregators that I had not previously met at expos,” Urosh shared. “They usually attend European fairs without showcasing their product. This time, Manila was the stage — and it delivered.”

Trends and Shifts: Regulation, AI, and Market Evolution

The conference panels delved into timely industry themes, particularly the growing role of AI in iGaming and adjacent sectors. Regulatory evolution was also front and center, as many governments — including the Philippines — are laying down frameworks to support responsible and regulated gaming ecosystems.

“PAGCOR recently introduced new conditions for B2B and B2C service providers to operate in the Philippines,” Urosh explained. “There are even newer offshore licensing jurisdictions appearing, like East Timor, that are worth keeping an eye on.”

A Region Waking Up

From an energy and scale perspective, SiGMA Asia exceeded expectations.

“The opportunities? Limitless. The scale? Quite big — surprisingly so for a regional event,” said Urosh. “The iGaming community has long been waiting for the rather sleepy Philippines market to wake up. The energy was top. Time flew.”

Zillion’s Spotlight: Games That Speak the Local Language

Zillion Games stood out with its cutting-edge approach to front-end game visualisation — tailored to the diverse aesthetics and preferences of different markets. Urosh emphasized that our product offering was not only well-prepared for the Philippines, but also resonated with the unique tastes of Asian players.

“Our new releases attracted close attention from local aggregators,” he said. “They were particularly interested in how we fuse traditional and modern Asian themes, and several of them are now considering distributing our games across key regional markets.”

Zillion’s appearance at SiGMA Asia 2025 marks more than just a presence — it’s a signal of intent. We’re ready to grow, localize, and thrive in one of the world’s most promising regions for iGaming.

Stay tuned — the journey has just begun.
